Advised Consulting Group Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

Modern slavery takes various forms, such as servitude, forced and bonded labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person's liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights that transcends age, gender and ethnicities.

Advised Consulting Group Limited (ACG) is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our business or in our supply chains.

Our business

Advised Consulting Group is a provider of executive and specialist recruitment, talent management, corporate intelligence and career advisory services. All our staff are based in the UK and our policies and working practices promote equal opportunities and diversity and provide a safe working environment. We have procedures in place to enable employees to raise concerns about wrongful behaviour within our business, including in relation to ethical standards, without fear of reprisal.

Due to the nature of our business and our approach to governance, we believe there is very low risk of slavery and human trafficking having a connection with our business activities. But there is no room for complacency, we acknowledge that we must remain vigilant to the risks and ensure as far as is reasonably possible that modern slavery and human trafficking does not take place in our organisation or supply chain.

Suppliers to our business

We consider ethical, social and environmental factors when selecting our suppliers and have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking.

We have reviewed our supply chain which comprises suppliers of IT and other office equipment, professional services, office cleaning and other property services. Based on our review, we are satisfied that our key suppliers have appropriate policies in place to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking does not take place in their organisation or supply chain.

We will continually review our supply chain and take steps to strengthen and enhance our procurement practices and contractual arrangements with suppliers.

Training

We have provided training to our directors and consultants to increase awareness of what human trafficking and modern slavery is and the various responsibilities our people have for ensuring it doesn’t exist within ACG or our supply chains.

Our commitment

This statement has been approved by the ACG board of directors. Our approach to tackling slavery and human trafficking will evolve and strengthen over time. We continue to take this issue seriously and we will review and update our approach annually.
